ACTIVLINGUA are pioneers in the development of a breakthrough system for English language teaching and learning, based on the power of interactive whiteboards.

Our design and development team are internationally experienced teachers, having worked at all levels including student and teacher-training, centre management, resource bank management and materials selection. We have extensive experience in the pedagogy of language teaching and are committed to conducting research into the advancement of language education.

History

ACTIVLINGUA was founded in 2003 by a team who are passionate about bringing the best ideas and practices to people involved in teaching and learning languages. Our organisation has grown out of experienced practitioners in teaching English as a foreign or second language, and has been backed up with extensive research and development in interactive whiteboard systems. This unique blend of teaching experience coupled with proven collaborative classroom technology has given birth to the interactive language learning experience that is ACTIVLINGUA.

ACTIVstudio pioneers

ACTIVLINGUA have led the way in creating interactive teaching systems based entirely in Promethean's new ACTIVstudio Developer Edition. We have worked closely with the developers to test and design this new generation of interactive content authoring tool, designed specifically for presentation and learning environments.

Our easy to learn user-friendly interface has been developed using multimedia resources for language learning that fully exploits Promethean's collaborative classroom solution.

ACTIVstudio offers multiple features that enable you to create and deliver whiteboard friendly presentations, enhance material with special effects, annotate to highlight key points, add notes and pointers incorporating additional information or audience comments, and much more.
